Supported independent living

People who need a lot of help to live on their own at home can ask NDIS for money to pay for support. This help includes things like getting assistance with chores, personal care, going to appointments, shopping for groceries, and other daily activities, including social activities.

But the money from Supported Independent Living doesn't cover regular expenses like rent and food.

We help people choose where they want to live and who they want to live with. We'll talk to you and your support network to figure out how you want your support at home. We're all different, so there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to setting up our lives at home. In a shared home, we'll also work on building relationships to help everyone achieve their goal of living independently.
