A Fair Day Out 2018
Come and celebrate Spring at A Fair Day Out 2018. A FREE community event at Eumundi Markets on Saturday 15th September 2018.
A Fair Day Out celebrates inclusive communities and is a wonderful creative expression for people with disabilities. The agenda of this day is all about FUN! It is a great day to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Our busy lifestyles mean that sometimes we don't get time to get together and enjoy each other's company - A Fair Day Out is a chance to do that! This year marks the 6th year of A Fair Day Out and a great time to check it out if you have not been before.
In 2018, we are hosting the event during Disability Action Week. We thank The Queensland Government and the Sunshine Coast Regional Council for their support of this free community event.
Lots of free games and activities to participate in for the whole family.
A petting zoo will sure to be an attraction for those young and young at heart. For the smaller crowd - you can also enjoy a pony ride!
The hub of the event will be at the Eumundi Amphitheatre with stalls run by people with disability using the Original Eumundi Markets' philosophy of 'make it, bake it, sew it, grow it', as well as free art and craft activities for children + a Come and Try tent with lots of fun activities to try for the first time
The Amphitheatre Stage will see entertainment from 9am to 1.30pm - a blend of performances including dance, music and more.
The day is organised with volunteer and professional support by five Sunshine Coast NFP disability support organisations - Equity Works, SCILS, Spiral, Parent to Parent and Inclusion Plus Family Support. Together these organisations support over 800 people with disabilities and their families on the Sunshine Coast.
